Sydney
Carton finds out that there is someone he cares, Lucie Manatte. He finds that
the life that he cares no one and no one cares about him has been ended since
he sees Lucie. He cares about Lucie more than anything. He knows that he loves
Lucie. His life is not worthless any more. He finally goes up to Lucie and has
a talk with her. He tells Lucie how much he cares about her. However, Carton
tells Lucie that he doesn’t want anything back from her because he thinks it
doesn’t worth to do so. He just wants to give everything to her. He tells Lucie
that he cannot do anything better about his life, but Lucie convinces him that
he can live a better life and find a value of himself. Sydney Carton considers
Lucie as his last dream of his sole and tells Lucie that he will do anything
for her no matter what even it costs his life. He will keep the people Lucie
loves around her. He makes the promise to Lucie and then leaves her.
